RST Assessment

This is your in-person theory test and practical assessment, done in one appointment- the step that actually leads to obtaining your RST. This price INCLUDES YOUR D.O.T. CARD PROCESSING FEE, which other companies charge you extra for after the course. Includes full access to the online study content, and it stays yours as a handy mobile reference library for life once you're certified.

Study Only

Online training modules, practice quizzes, mock exams, and the reference library — study at your own pace. Doesn't include the required in-person theory test and practical assessment, which is booked separately (or included if you choose the assessment package). Stays available afterwards as a reference library once you're a certified skipper.

$150/hr
3-hour minimum ($450) — charged at booking

One-on-one instruction for a tailored pace — $150/hour, 3-hour minimum charged at booking. Any additional time on the day is settled directly with your instructor.
This can be for individual/small group RST training and assessments, vessel handling and safety training, or just to have someone experienced onboard to help you feel comfortable setting up or operating your new pride and joy.
